Symposia & Talks
Time Management
Symposia:
Each symposium is allocated 90 minutes. Moderators will organise the talks, facilitate discussions, and manage the Q&A segment within the allotted time.
Talk sessions:
Individual talk sessions are either 60, 75, or 90 minutes in length. All speakers should prepare talks up to 15-minutes to allow time for Q&A. It is important that all speakers are ready and on time for their presentations. Each session will have a moderator to assist throughout the session.
Presentation Guidelines
Each presentation hall has a computer setup for presentations. Presenters in symposiums and talk sessions are urged to follow these guidelines regarding presentation materials:
Submission by email (preferred option):
Presenters are encouraged to send their presentations to mail@iaea-jena2026.org. Please indicate the date, time and name of the session of your presentation (e.g. Friday 8 May, 10.30 AM, Session: XXX).
The deadline for sending the presentations is Monday, 4th May at 17:00 PM CEST. Presentations will be automatically deleted after the sessions.
USB stick: Presenters may alternatively bring their presentations on a USB stick.
Using your device: if necessary, presenters can use their laptops. Each hall is equipped with an HDMI connection; please ensure you have the appropriate port or bring a suitable adapter.
Posters
Unfortunately, we will not be able to have a printing service available on-site.
We recommend printing posters before the conference but also note the following print shops are nearby to the conference:
https://www.etermin.net/dieunikate
https://copy-data.de/
Scientific posters should be vertical (portrait) and A0 in size (841x1189mm).
